The fish is NOT in a bowl, as someone stated, but in an aquarium with an aerator. I was also advised by a salesperson at the pet store that 1 gallon was adequate for 1 small fish but no more than that. I will, however, upgrade to a larger size as the fish grows or when I get more fish.

I can’t stand the bright aquarium light over my tank, but I can’t see my fish well without it. Is there a way or a knob to durn down the voltage to it so that the light wont be as strong? Or, are there dimmer lights that you have to buy seperately? Thanks

i just started out witih my first aquarium. its a 2 gallon hex and i have a red clawed crab in there with 2 guppies. i just saw my crab attack and kill my male guppy and now he is eating it. should i leave the dead male guppy for him to finish or should i take it out?
