saltwater aquariums are NOT CHEAP. You have to get a special filter, the fish are more expensive, and it's very hard to maintain. YOU MUST DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and learn everything you can about a saltwater tank before you go out and waste your money. My suggestion would be to start with a brackish (half salt, half fresh) tank first, then if you can handle that move on to the full saltwater.

If you have a pretty good filter, then more than likely due to the gravel or some other piece of decoration or equipment not being rinsed well with cool running tap water prior to introducing it to the tank. If that is the case, then your routine changes of water will eventually take care of it. There are also chemicals that can help to clarify your water.

I usely when I repair an aquarium I go ahead and take off all the silicone and put new silicone in its place just to make sure everything is fresh and new its really time saving and all my fish are happy now. I have two tanks a 3 gallon and a 50 octagon aquarium

my panther grouper is doing that too. it usually means that your fish is seeing him or her self in the reflection. or he is trying to get some thing of his nose

10 gallons is probably too small to make a healthy self-sustaining ecosystem without mechanical help from filters & the like.

If it's just a small leak on one corner, you may can inject some fresh silicone into that one spot. Let it dry for a couple of days, then fill it and wait a couple of more days to see if it worked.
If there's still a leak, then go ahead and remove all the silicone around that corner (I wouldn't remove any more than you have to in order to ensure a good seal). Take a razor blade or box cutter and remove a couple of inches along each edge coming from that corner. Make sure you leave no loose scraps or crumbs. Then seal it good from the corner out to the end of the existing silicone on each edge. Be sure to fill the space completely, even if you have to go back with the razor and trim it after it dries. After it's good and dry again, then water test it again for several days.
It may not leak again immediately, which is why you need to let the water set for several days to make sure it doesn't find a hole still there.

Edit: Make sure to install the silicone from the inside, that way it will seal from the inside out. If you put it in the ***** on the outside, then the water still may force another hole causing it to leak more.
